I'm interested in buying a Python Elite in 4" Blued. I want to buy some rubber grips for it, I just don't know where to look, or what type of frame the handgun is. Any suggestions?
The Python uses the Colt "I" frame. Most grip makers now just list it as the "Python size".
Here's some rubber grip makers who sell models for the Python:
Hogue's are a favorite of Python owner's, and their rubber "Mono-Grip" model fits most owners better than any other Python grip. http://www.getgrip.com/
Pachmayr makes several different types of rubber grips.
One that many shooters prefer is the "Professional Gripper". This has finger grooves and an open back, so these tend to fit the shooter better than the other versions. http://www.pachmayr.com/pachmayr/
