Colt?

I've seen advertisements for 2002 Colt custom shop Anacondas. I thought that colt no longer made the Python or the Anaconda. If they are making the Anaconda again are they going to start making the Python again too? The Colt Python is one of the guns I would love to have and I would like to see it back in production. What do you guys think the future of the python is?

You can still get the python through the colt custom shop for about 1200 bucks. I just dont think the quality will be as good as the older ones.My opion.

Visit the Colt web page to see what products are currently available. Of course, the auction sites abound with used Pythons from $600-$900.

As near as I can determine, Colt is again making the Python, available in stainless steel only, and 6" barrel only, at this time.

As long as Colt stays in business, and can make money on the Python, they will continue to make them.
