Colt vs. Kimber. Which makes more sense?

I am going to be buying either a Colt Defender Plus (8+1 capacity), or a Kimber Ultra Ten II (10+1 capacity).

The Defender Plus is a slightly larger Defender, however it still has the 3 inch barrel.

The Ultra Ten II is a polymer framed gun with a 3 inch barrel.

Note: Both of these guns are very new models just released, so I am not expecting many replies from owners, or folks who have seen these new models, but if anyone does have knowledge of them, please list some Pros, and Cons.

The Defender has been in production since 1999. There are many Defender owners at the 1911 Forum.

The length of the barrel is not much of a factor for concealed carry IWB. On the other hand a larger grip is.

Tough call. I'd get the gun that felt best in my hand. Or cost less. Whichever.
