Colt Trooper upgrade parts?

Hi I got a Colt Trooper MK111 and would like to change out the sights. I would like something like a fibert optic front sight and a solid rear blade sight like the Bomars or Novaks on the 1911s.
Does anyone make some better sights that fit these revolvers? Thanks

Due to the fact that the Trooper Mark III was discontinued back in 1983, there is very little of the newer type sights that are made for these.

My suggestion is to contact Brownell's and ask them for anything that might be available.
If there is, they'll know about it, but don't expect there to be anything available.

An Elliason rear sight will probably fit and replace the Accro, at least it does on Python, older Gold Cup, and Ace.
The only way I know of to get a fibre optic front sight on a Trooper would be to have a gunsmith make a dovetail cut across the ramp and install the nearest height 1911 f.o. sight.

Millett makes sights for the Trooper Mk III, you could get their white outline rear and blaze orange front. Certainly the simplest and least expensive option.

I believe that Millet rear sight will be what I'm looking for. My Smith may be able to fiber the front sight that's on it now. He did it to my Colt Enhanced 1911 and works and looks great.
Thanks fellas..
