Colt SAA Army cylinder reamer?

To be more specific, this is what you want. Consider buying the pilot pack too if you're going to do a bunch of .45's. I have used this one on several .45 Colts with excellent results. If you are just doing one gun, you might want to send it to CAS at www.cylindersmith.com. He does excellent work at a very reasonable price.

Thank you, for your advice. Brownell's and Midway are no help. Cylindersmith does not ream .44 Special.

Any body know where there is a .44 Special cylinder for a first generation Colt SAA available?

The link above to brownells shows the .44 reamer for $80. What else were you looking for.

I spoke with Tech Tom at Brownell's today, and he informed me Brownell's does not have a .44 cylinder reamer. I will call and talk to a different tech tomorrow. Thank you, Tom

Tom, it might help if you could tell us what you want to do. Are you going to ream the cylinder throats to get a uniform diameter or are you planning to ream a smaller caliber to .44 Special?

Just FWIW, First Generation SAA's in .44 Special are pretty scarce, as only 507 were made. I have never seen one.
