Colt Pony/Mustang/Pocketlite differences

What are the similarities and differences between the Colt Pony and the Mustang - and what makes either a Pocketlite? Thanks for your help.

Pony: DAO, .380ACP
Govt. .380ACP: SA, basicly a tiny 1911 in .380ACP
Mustang: SA, just like the Govt. 380ACP but even smaller.

PocketLite: Any of the above with an alloy frame

Thanks. When you say that it is like a tiny 1911, do you mean that it has a thumb-safety like a 1911? (I realize the look is similar, but don't know if the controls are similar as well.)

Some perspective - Steel Mustang 16oz, Pocketlite Mustang 12oz - and yes 4oz does make a difference.

Here's a pic of my Mustang Pocketlite:

Thank you. What type of trigger pull is typical on the Mustang (SA) and the Pony (DAO). And, is the thumb-safety on the Mustang as (or almost as) "user friendly" as on a 1911, or is it too small to activate intuitively? Thanks again.

btw - nice looking pistol

Actually, the difference is 5oz. A fully loaded Mustang Pocketlite weighs 15.5oz, and the fully loaded steel model weighs 20.5oz. It feels quite a bit different in the pocket. :) Here's my Pocketlite, it was worked over by SM&A with their PCP package, and I went for better sights.

The thumb safety is very instinctive; almost more so than 1911's. The trigger pull is around five pounds for the SA guns and just horrible on the Pony.

Blades is right about the trigger pull on the pony. My dad bought one and had to take it to a gunsmith right away. Man, was it bad. :(
