I need to clean up the threads in a Colt Police Positive. This requires a 32tpi tap with a taper as the barrel at the back is.550 and .560 at the shoulder. I tried MSC Machine twice and no one got back to me
 
Call the Brownell's Tech department. They may have them, or will know who does.
What you need is a .5634-32 tapered .017" tpi.
 
I used to have a thread file to dress nicked threads. It was four-sided, and had different TPI on each flat, and on each end. I don't know what happened to it, but I would like to have one again.
