I've handled several OPs and Several Pythons. Internally they are the same gun. Why then do the python's pull back so much smoother (light as a feather) as opposed to the average OPs?
The Python, being a target model, is handfitted and tuned (custom built) to get it's smooth action. The OP, being a service revolver, doesn't get this extra attention.
