Colt Officers Target Model

I saw a Colt Officers Target Model (from the 1920s) in a gun store today. Blueing pretty much worn off and on of the grips broken but the metal is in good shapre overall, no pittin under the handguards. it has adjusable rear and front sights. Its got a 6 in barrel and is in .38 special. He wants $225 for it. Any comments? Is it worth it?

Fred that one is kind of iffy. It is on the high end of "worth it". For a shooter it would make a good gun, assuming it is tight, but other equaling good guns could be had for the same or less. If it were me and it gave me that warm fuzzy feeling I'd go for it. If not I'd look for something else that did. ;)
