No idea but I like it.

Unless it was done by a small group of famous engravers the experts can recognize most times it can't be determined who did the work on an unidentified gun. Often the work was done outside the U.S. and a GI or tourist brought the gun home.
 
That's actualy quite nice engraving. Hard to really tell exactly what is going on due to the quality of the pictures, but it appears that it's well done, but not particularly elaborate.

My guess is that it was done by a skilled journeyman, but not a master engraver.
