Truly, a classic pistol - - -I've owned several, in both calibers.
- - -Just as I've owned several Colt Peacemakers and Webleys. All classics. But there are better carrying pieces.
The model Ms are usually quite accurate. For their era, they are beautifully flat and compact. They get decent velocity, compared to the miniature .32s. The .32 Colt holds one more cartridge than the Kel Tec.
I have a Colt Model M (.380) in the drawer beneath this keyboard. Know why? Because it is so heavy and of such modest power that I'm rarely tempted to move it, so it's always handy to the computer! And, as an aside, I have a KT P32 in my pants pocket at this moment.
Man, I love Colts, and I love classics. I carry a .45 Colt LW almost every day, because in my mind, it is still state of the art. But, like the Colt Peacemaker and the Texas Paterson, the Model M's day has come and gone. But as I tell my friend who packs a six-inch N-Frame daily, if you like it, more power to you!
Best,
Johnny
