I recently was passed down a colt model 1908 hammerless .25 cal and a colt woodsman first series. They were passed down when my grandfather passed away. He carried both in (ARMY) wwII. They both are in only good (some pitting on slide and frame) condition. I want to pass them on to my children. Does it make sense to have them professionally redone or should I leave them alone. Oh yeah got his 1911 colt 45 us army she is a real beauty. Any thoughts
