Colt Match Target 3rd Series (?woodsman?)

I just purchsed a Colt Match Target in .22lr. The gun is missing a screw and spring. I have tried colt22.com to locate the parts needed to get the gun working. Unfortunately those parts are unavailable from that site. Does anybody else know a good source of gun parts? Anyone had any experience with this pistol? I paid $50.00 for it a a estate sale deal or dud?

Yeah, I've played with one of these... beautiful old guns... very accurate as well, though it is odd that the rear sight is on the slide whereas the front sight is on the barrel.

IIRC, they were orignally produced as training pistols for the US Army in one of the world wars. Many variations were made, and all were well-loved.

Once, when I was figuring out how to disassemble on of these, I found this website:
www.coltwoodsman.com
they may have info.

btw, I've seen "Very Good" condition Target models for over $1000. One of the first things to look at (and easy to see!) is if the "elephant ears" sticking down from the grip are still there or if they were broken off by some clumsy owner.
