Colt manufactured 1902

When was it (frame/cyl/barrel) made?
It's certainly worth less now than in unconverted form, but if the parts are mix of blackpowder and smokeless, the value could be very hard to determine.
 
If it was originally .44-40, and was converted to .44 Special, at least the cylinder had to be replaced. That gun looks like it was made into a target gun of sorts with an altered front sight, though I see no change to the back sight. All I can say for sure is that the work done on it made it considerably less valuable than if it had been left alone.
