The 2" Lawman Mark V isn't particularly rare, but one NIB would have a premium on price.
The Mark V Lawman version IS less common than the Mark III version.
Basically, the Mark V Lawman is the same gun as the later King Cobra, only with fixed sights.
These Mark III/V/King Cobra revolvers are absolute TANKS.
Master gunsmith Jerry Kuhnhausen believed these were the strongest mid-frame revolvers ever built, due to Cot's superior forged and heat treated frames and cylinders.
They have only two "weakness's" and that's a "chance" of a broken firing pin if you dry fire without snap caps.
Broken pins in these guns REQUIRE a trip back to Colt for replacement, due to the need for special tooling to keep from damaging the frame.
The fix is to use snap caps.
The second weakness is, there's not much available in aftermarket grips.
The Mark III/V Lawman is sort of a giant Detective Special in .357 Magnum, and make a GREAT carry revolver you can shoot unlimited amounts of Magnum ammo through.
