Good lookin speciman there Snub357 !

In my opinion the KC is as durable a DA revolver Colt ever produced.

Sure wish the cyl turned the rite way

Thats a very nice looking KC, condition looks great. I too have the 6", its a really enjoyable range gun, very accurate. I'd love to have the 4" version, but they're hard to find. When they do show up, they're pretty pricey. I didnt like the Pachmayr presentation grips so I changed them out to these Hogue checkered rosewood laminate grips.

I have the same set of Hogues. But I prefer shooting with the rubbers on. I had surgery on my hand a couple years ago, and the rubber makes life more pleasurable. :)

But the wood sure is purty.

I have an Anaconda but would love to have a King Cobra (and a Python, and a Diamond Back, and a all the other snake guns).

Lots of folks are snake chasers. Some of the REAL REAL hard to find ones include the Boa, the Viper, and the Combat Cobra.
If you've never seen a King Cobra in "Ultimate Bright Stainless" You've missed a real treat. Highly polished and looks a lot like nickel.

I did have one with the 4-inch barrel. The really cool serial number was 911, if we ignore the leading zero's.....

But I don't have it anymore. And I do have the 4-inch Trooper Mark III. They are virtually the same except for the metal (Trooper is not stainless) and the barrel.

The Trooper balances better IMHO since it doesn't have the full-lug barrel. Yet in firing, all that weight up near the muzzle is better for recoil control.

But that cobra on the barrel is just so neat. I should have hung onto the KC just for that
