Colt Factory Elite Ten/Forty 10mm/40 Caliber

Hello All,
I had posted a thread last week regarding this Colt Pistol.
It is a factory Colt 10/40 The serial # is 1040xxx.
I have been trying to track down production #s and I was told
that 300 were produced. I could not find it in the gun price guide.
I am wondering if anyone might have access to production and or value information. It is LNIB with the cardboard outer and includes the xtra.
barrel and magazine for a 10mm or 40 Caliber all Factory.
Any help would be appreciated.

I do not know production numbers though you can purchase that info if you get the gun lettered from colt. I collect 10mm's and I have only ever seen or heard of 2 others, one of which I purchased. The limited edition colts command a premium over the "regular" models. You will get maximum value for it if you have all the accessories, box etc. More if you get it lettered.

I would guess potential value of $1500+ depending on items mentioned above. That said the market for collectables is soft right now with everyone pulling back on spending or putting there money into EBR's.

I was at a gunshow today and still couldn't find any info.
on production estimates and so on.
It must be a hard to come by model.
Someone out there must know.
