Colt/DPMS AR-15

I saw an AR-15 today at a local gun shop that had a Colt pre-ban upper and a DPMS lower. It also comes with 500rnds of ammo and 20 mags. It was on consignment for 1695.00. It is about 99%. Is that a fair price?

WAY too high. You should be able to get DPMS pre-ban lowers for less than $800 bucks. You can buy a new upper for much less than $900! Somebody's gouging seriously.

You should be able to get a pre-ban "mix-master" for around $1100-1200, you'll have to decide if the magazines and ammo are worth $500-600.

WC, IS this set up LEGAL?..........

Did you call the DPMS people, and ask WHEN the lower was produced???........

Pre ban upper......WHAT ban lower??....check this out before you get into a heap o trouble...if you were to buy it.
