Colt Delta in 10mm???

I have just purchased a Colt Delta in 10mm, never heard of just a Delta. It looks like a 1991A1, the finish is parkerized,on the left side of the slide it has Delta 10mm(not Delta Elite, just Delta), on the right side of the frame the serial number is DEL01**. The Colt Manual doesn't list just a Delta. I paid $650 NIB for it. Anybody know anything about this gun?

Limited-production item. Maybe a Lew Horton deal. I see them on gunsamerica, auctionarms, etc., occasionally. You are right that it is essentially a 1991A1 version of the Delta Elite. $650 is a decent price.
