Colt Compensated Commander

I have the above gun, model 04012 EU COMP, serial number CMPCO293. Manufactured in 1997 or 1998. A blued Commander-length slide with a blued 0.75" compensator are mated with a stainless frame. The pistol has a full-length two piece guide rod and walnut grips WITHOUT the Colt Logo or any other marking. "Colt Compensated Commander" is stamped on the left side of the slide.

It was made at Colt's Custom shop and distributed by Lew Horton. Can you tell me how many of these were produced and what non-standard parts are used? Thanks for any help you can give. Both Colt and Lew Horton refuse to be of any help.

Ledbetter, the Colt Compensated Commander was made in 1998 with a total of 500 being produced. It also included an extended beavertail safety, a skeletonized hammer and Novak-style sights. The original suggested retail price was $890. Hope this helps!
