I took my 1972 Official Police MKlll out of the safe today and polished it up a little. It is a nickel Detroit Police pistol. I have had it about a year and never cleaned it up since I bought it. I think it cleaned up pretty well. What do you guys think?
Rambilt, if it is a nickel gun you are working on, use Mothers mag and aluminum polish with a micro fiber cloth. You can get both at any of your local auto stores. Just put a dab on the cloth and rub it in lightly until the cloth starts to get black. Then polish it off with a clean micro fiber. It took about two hours on this particular one. Have fun.
