Colt AR-15 Magazines

I have what I think are (2) Colt AR-15 magazines and an instruction manual for the Colt AR-15 Sporter Rifle and Carbine. I do not know how many rounds they hold. I also do not have the rifle.

I would like to know if they are worth anything.

I also have about 200 rounds of 5.56 ammo, 150 rounds of 38 Special Remmington ammo, and some 22 ammo. It's all 20 - 30 years old. Should I just take it all to the police station for disposal?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If the ammo is in good shape (not corroded or anything) post it for sale. Depending on price I'd personally be interested in it and the magazines.

I think it's worth about $125.
200 rds x .30 = $60
250 rds x .20 = $30
2 20 rd mags = $30
manual = $5

Thanks ISC.

I don't know the laws regarding selling/shipping ammo and magazines, but will check on that here. I believe it has to be done through a federally licensed dealers.

Is this a 20 Round magazine?

I don't think I can afford an AR-15. Aren't they expensive? I do have a 1918 Colt Model 1911 45, a 1920 Colt 22 Pre-Woodsman, a 1971 S&W 38 Chief's Special and a Ravin P-25.

I gave the .223 ammo to a friend earlier tonight, I'm keeping the 38 ammo and the 22 rounds are NFG.

I haven't figured out what to do with the magazines and manual yet.
