Colt anaconda corrision

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a colt anaconda from a private party. He sent me a picture today and besides a few minor scratches there seems to be a green looking discoloration where the cylinder and frame meet. Is this corrosion that can polished out? I own several SS wheel guns and have never seen this. Any thoughts before I buy?

Left over copper solvents that dried out perhaps:confused:
Hard to tell for sure with so little info.
It may indicate a sloppy or unknowledgeable owner in the worst case.

He probably is telling the truth. That would be odd place to lie about keeping a gun. But it doesn't really help provide any insight.
Can you post pics? Is the green on the cylinder or the frame? What part of cylinder/frame.

My used one has some scratches in its previous role as an under the truck seat gun. But its stainless so hoppes shouldn't screw it up like a nickel gun. I bet it's superficial.

update: what a sweet gun the Anaconda is! It's my first Colt and I was able to trade my last "semi" in the deal.
