Colt anaconda .45 long colt prices ?

I have on hold at a pawn store a very nice colt anaconda 6 inch barrel it's the rare .45 long colt. Stainless I would rate it about 98%. I can get it for 1500 How's the price?

Sounds like a good deal to me.
The prices I've seen on them are a lot higher than that, even with out the box.
 
IME the 45 Colt Anaconda is a tough gun, not quite a Redhawk, but really really close.

They seem well toleranced ('cause the tooling didn't get worn down?).
 
Might want to check it for oversize throats. As I understand it this was a big problem effecting accuracy.
 
I think you will be pleased with the .45 Colt. It is an easy round to reload and there are almost unlimited range of reloads from mild to heavy to include bullet weights.

A very versatile and proven round. Enjoy~
 
It will certainly handle any load the Red Hawk will with aplomb. Same size frame, investment cast over forged I'll take a forged gun over cast any day. Early Anacondas in 45 Colt had throat issues but not impossible to get to shoot,45 Colt dimensions have been all over the map for years..I have a later one and it's wonderful shooter and good example of Colt quality.
