Need information on what I believe is a SAA Colt 41.
It has patent dates stamped in front of the cylinder.
The dates are 1871 72 & 75 revolver has lost most of the bluing but appears in working order. Cylinder is tight hammer and action are smooth. Thanks for any information on this revovler.

What do you want to know? .41 was the fifth most popular caliber in the SAA, beind .45, 44-40, 38-40 and 32-20. 16,402 were made. The caliber is common enough that they usually bring only a small premium over the more common calibers in the same condition.

We could tell you more with a serial number and a better description.
