Indeed sir.
In Tennessee, a barbecue of any kind is the pinnacle of local social activites. It is one where finery of both dress and armament is expected of every attendee.
In addition to your barbecue gun, finery of leather is often expected. Nothing less than a matching belt and holster will do, preferably coordinated with your clothing.
I must note that, in Tennessee at least, there is a difference between a barbecue and a cook-out. A barbecue is an outdoor social event, expecting gentility, grace, charm, and manners becoming of a southern gentleman.
A cook-out involves beer, untucked t-shirts, and football.
I enjoy both tremendously. (I prefer cook-outs for the Budweiser
)
To answer the question above, yes. It is a "pimpin' " gun. Specifically carried when dressing to impress.
