At 78 I don't remember if I ate breakfast and where I bought this pistol. Is it made by Colt? Never fired, pristine, no box or manuals. No Italian stamps. Barrel says "ADDRESS COL SAM COLT NEW-YORK US AMERICA". There is a mark following S which I cant read but guess is small "L". What price range am I in. My sons don't care about guns and I need to find a good home for it. Many Thanks

I am unable to load the photos I made as they are too detailed and I don't know how to water them down. Please send me an email address if you would like to see them.

That can be a 2nd or 3rd gen Colt 1860 or a "colterized" Centaure.
If your specimen has a 3-screw frame it is most likely the latter because only one 2nd gen prototype is known.
Price for the "colterized" Centaure would be in the early to middle 4 digits, depending on the variant.
A pic would help. Send to wolf@1960nma.org.
