I copied this from the post I had on General Discussion. It provides an example of what Amend 22 gives us.

Yes, it applies to ALL xfers at a gun show. They are supposed to have 1-2 FFL holders on site to perform the checks for private sales. The FFL holder is authorized to charge up to $10 for their service and must maintain a copy of the records.
No funding was set aside for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to facilitate this either.

It includes ALL guns, even black powder. And a gun show by the 22 definition is: 3 or more people in attendance, 25 or more guns. So this could include by law, your home, hunting camp, parking lot, flea markets, etc.

An example: you and the spouse are at home, a friend comes over to buy your extra shotgun or whatever, you would be in violation by not getting a check done.

They are also hot on the trail now to introduce mandatory safe storage among other things.

Just think, the lawyers will have you by the gonads on that one. "if you had time to unlock your safe, then you had time to call 911 or leave your house". I believe self defense will become obsolete in CO.

Admins/moderators, can you remove this. I did'nt realize you already copied the thread over from General.

Thanks.

RR,
RMGO has already announced to the media that they will be filing a court case against amendment 22. It will go to court, then the appeallate court, then the state Supreme Court. It might eventually make it to US Supreme Court (why bother if Gore is elected). But, in truth, the amendment 22 SHOULDN'T go into effect for at least a year or two. Keep a stiff upper lip.
