Collectable Browning Handgun Ammunition?

I was given a box of 44 mag ammo, and it is old Browning Handgun Ammunition in a gold and black box. I was told by another person it is collectable. Does anyone know if this is true?

I bought a box of Browning shotgun shells back in the late 70s. Four of them had split bases before they were fired (right out of the box).

So if there is any collectors value in Browning ammo, it certainly isn't because of it's high quality! LOL!

There's probably some minor collector value to the box and cartridges at this point, but it's certainly not going to put your kids through college. It might buy you a drink or two at the local watering hole.

I have this ammo that I picked up from my OWN grandfather's auction :D

IIRC, I didn't pay more than a few bucks for it. You never know though... find the right buyer and anything this old can have some value.
