Coincidence, or what?

Time and money meant that most of my competition shooting was in January and February and since then I've not shot much. My sense of fun meant I did those matches with my Redhawk, running .44Spls.

I had only shot one match with my CZ SP-01 way back in early Jan. Until yesterday, that is!! Match size meant that they had no Revolver category as they are not very popular here, so I took my CZ.

Now; I normally, consistently come in the middle to lower half of the squad in final scores, with decent points but low speed.

Yesterday, my first DA/SA 9mm match after a spate of DA only .44Spl matches, I came 7th out of 24 with a score of a smidge over 75%.

It may not sound like much, but it was for me.

Could this be the DA shooting I was doing with the Redhawk showing in my SA shooting with the CZ?

I'd like to think so!
:D

Revolver shooting if done correctly demands more attention to trigger control. That in turn leads to better shooting all around.
