Not only can it be, IMHO, it should be. I even had mine converted to SAO.
What is the safest way to decock the CZ on a loaded chamber and prevent an accidental discharge?
Carry SA and this becomes a non-issue. If you must carry DA you should interpose your thumb between the hammer and slide then slowly lower the hammer onto your thumb. THIS REQUIRES PULLING THE TRIGGER SO BE CAREFUL. As the hammer starts to lower release the trigger and the newer guns will have a firing pin block so that should add some safety to the operation. Then remove your thumb and continue to lower the hammer.
What would be the preferred concealed carry method -- cocked and locked or double action?
SAO for me, but you gotta go with what YOU are comfortable with. It really bothers some people to carry a loaded gun with the hammer back. Those people carry Glocks and SIG's.
Is it true that if I carry the CZ in DA that the safety does not work?
I don't remember, but I thought you could. Maybe I am thinking of a Taurus.
And finally, where else can I find a good price on the combat model besides J&G sales?

Search the net I saw one a couple of days ago for $385 NIB, don't remember where not do I know how that compares to J&G.
