Has anyone loaded .38spec. 358156 with Bullseye? 4th edition CBH recommends 4grs for a non +P load. Any thoughts before I start?
 
That would have been too simple LAH. Better my time be taken up with casting, sizing, lubing, etc.

The bullet on the left is one I shot into jugs of water. Last two times I tried to see if it were consistant, the bullet wowed out the side of the third jug.



 
Thanks LAH, I'm in a quandry as to using the non +P hollowpoint or the non +P wadcutter. I need to see if the HP is consistant before making up my mind.
 
With a little testing you'll figure it out. Nothing like testing. Did a little yesterday myself.
 
A lot of lead, some WWs and very little tin for the SWC, The WC is mostly WWs with a little Lino. I'm guessing around 700 to 800fps for both loads in the Colt Cobra. How's that for the scientific method. I cast around 200+ for the HP and 700+ for the WC. Whichever one I decide on for the Colt the other I'll kick up to a +P+ in my M-60 .357.
