CNN says Seminole last county, look at the numbers.

Looks to me like you are reading that correctly...but what do I know.

It is my opinion that this is mostly about RATINGS. The news is dragging this thing out, keeping everyone glued to the TV. That is why I refused to watch it for the last two days. I just want to know when it is over, but I am not about to sit and give the talking heads their airtime. I think they know who is going to win, but they are playing it out so we all watch on the edge of our seats. And, they may be causing a lot of national division in the process. But, since when does the media care about the aftermath...conflict and division just makes another good news story.

Pitts,

You're reading it correctly, but those are the totals ONLY for Seminole County, not for Florida as a whole.

Smith & Wesson is dead to me.

If you want a Smith & Wesson, buy USED!

If Seminole is last, and Bush by 15,000 or so, and Bush was already ahead by 200 or so, then wouldn't that give him a lead of around 15,000 or so? or am I completely misunderstanding?

I know that it is only 1 County, but Bush leads Gore by 15,000+ This would make the absentee ballots irrelevant. as well as the 19,000 morons who Double punched.

Why is the Media not reporting this?

Right, those are not recount numbers.

But, if the recount is even close to the original, then Bush should have Gore beaten by many thousands of votes by the time they count Seminole county...

I hope this is right. In any event, the offical recount won't be finished until Nov 17th when the deadline for military/overseas ballots is up.

In addition, I've heard that 3 or 4 states (Wisconsin, Oregon, New Mexico, and maybe one other) may be recounted because the count was so close.

Then the lawsuits begin...
