I would like to hear some opinions on the three .22 target rifles the CMP is offering for sale. They are:
Mossberg 44US ($90)
Remington 541X ($250)
H&R 512 ($300).
Any opinions on the prices, too high, great deal?
Over all, which one would you rate as the best deal?

Am I assuming too much that everyone knows about the CMP. If I am, it is a great organization. Originally set up to train the civilian population in marksmanship, it now promotes marksmanship, especially among the young.
