CLP Powder Blaster issue

I picked up a can of clp powder blaster recently. After a day at the range with my walther p22 I decided to try it out. Not only did it clean well it also ate the dura coat that i painted the slide with about 4 years ago. I'm not sure if it is the cleaners fault or my fault years ago mixing the hardener and pigment. I have rifle I painted also about the same time ago witch I'm not going to test on. So just a warning if it wasn't piolet error by me not to get it on dura coat.
