Any links available for the Wisconsin re-count?
Interesting. I just did a little math... if New Mexico and Wisconsin reverse their decisions based on re-counts, the electoral count will be 262 Bush, 244 Gore. Still undecided Oregon seems to be leaning Bush, last I checked over 80% of precincts had reported in. If Oregon goes to Bush, the count will be 269 Bush, 244 Gore. One vote shy. If the worst happens, and Florida goes Gore, we have a tie ladies and gentlemen. Ties in the electoral college are decided by The House of Representatives, with each state getting one vote. I don't know the exact distribution of representatives in each state, but I'd be willing to bet that Bush would win this vote.
Not exactly a conventional way to win the presidency, but I'll take it.
