How often do you clean your handgun(s)? I know I should clean mine alot more than I do. Should they be cleaned after every use or after a certain amount of rounds or when they just look dirty? I know lead will dirty a gun faster than a FMJ or BEB.

I just got done scrubbing down my Glock 22 and it looks so perfect. Just got me to thinking I should be doing it more.

Moving on to my 45, less than a box of those dirty American Ammunition rounds has this barrel soiled!

Warning!!! do not use American Ammunition. a friend of mine had a kb in his Glock 19 using it. also glock has several dozen cases of kbs involving American Ammunition in the past few weeks.

it may be a bit cheaper than other ammo but it comes at a cost. get some good ammo like American Eagle that's still reasonably priced.

I learned that lesson last week. See my previous post "American Ammunition".

Unless I only shoot a handfull of rounds through one I clean my guns after every session. But then again when I detail my pickup I wax the shock absorbers, so maybe it's a mental thing!

You guys must spend more time cleaning guns than shooting them! :) I clean mine when they have a few hundred rounds downrange, that can be from two to four range trips, depending on how many guns I take. If one of my pistols can't shoot 400-500 rounds reliably without cleaning, I fix it or sell it.
