Cleaning 590 bolt

Im cleaning the 590a1 to keep it fresh for that one time i might need it to work..Looking at the bolt assay. and the manual does not say how to disassemble it to take the firing pin out so i can really clean it up, anyone know how to take it apart, looks like a retaining pin inside the top of the bolt but im not going to force it out without confirmation of anything, any info is appreciated

There is no need to dissassemble it. Just clean it the best you can with Q-tips and oil, then blow it out with an air compressor. If its really gummed up and really nasty, then soak it in penetrating oil over night, then clean it.

There should be no reason to take it apart. Just clean it up the best you can, then shoot a couple hundred rounds through it, then clean it again. Its not going to fail because you didn't take the bolt apart... If the manual doesn't tell you to take it apart, don't take it apart. same thing with the trigger group.
