Clean money only for DNC

Probably more hype than actual change. Moveon.org may not, but Obamas declaration, be able to donate directly to him but that won't stop them - or any other organization - from airing their own TV spots in his favor (or anti McCain).

It is a SHELL game just like he said I don't take money from big oil. He still has recieved donations from people who work in big oil, but it has been against the law for oil companies to donate to campains for years. It is like when you won't let your dog come in the front door but let hiom in the back door.

DNC and clean money???

We've all heard this before!!! What they say now and what we find out in a couple of years will likely be different! Polititions will say anything but the realities are sure to be different. :(

He's full of crap. He's just accepting money from the folks who work for the special interest instead. Goldman Sachs (greediest walls treet investment firm) is his biggest contributer, because they are looking forward to making Billions off of the Carbon Cap and trade system. Politicians need money to get elected and Obama is no different.
McCain offered to only take federal money, no special interest money at all, and Obama declined the offer.

So far Barak Obama's top contributers by place of employment

Goldman Sachs $571,330
University of California $437,236
UBS AG $364,806
JPMorgan Chase & Co $362,207
Citigroup Inc $358,054

Wilmerhale LLP $218,680
Latham & Watkins $218,615
Microsoft Corp $209,242
Stanford University $195,262

Percent of Contributions Coded
Coded $97,869,642 (67%)
Uncoded $48,280,291 (33%)
Total $146,149,933

If you look up the Goldman Sachs folks on the Federal election commission website you will see that they are all giving the max of $2900 per election cycle. If they could make money off of it the folks at Goldman Sachs would crush your grandmother and sell her blood.

For some reason Goldman isnt giving John McCain any money I wonder why???

Your point is what exactly?

That Obama is cleaner cause he took 4.5X as much money as McCain from Goldman?? :)

The original poster was telling us that Obama was clean as a whistle, my point was that he isnt he's a liar.;)

Of course he is a damned liar. It is a given that all political hacks are liars, including McCain.

Obama is so funny. I wont take any corporate or lobby money.

Everybody who has looked at campaign finance knows how the game is played Mr. Obama.

Obama has plenty of dirty money laundry to answer for.

I liked this one:

According to The New York Sun, Johnson attorney Brian Brooks said via e-mail that the loans were “well within the band of standard industry practices with regard to price and structure of loans to borrowers of Mr. Johnson’s background.”

In other words, there's one set of rules for Barry O and his cronies, and another set of rules for everyone else.
