I picked up a clark spring to replace the one i broke in my 70 series(please dont ask how i broke it :o)this one has four fingers instead of three .Anything i should be aware of before i start? Also the spring looks like it is shaped totaly differant,do i need to adjust each spring?
thanks,
Matt

Matt, yes you have to adjust them all. I personally don't use them. I like the Nowlin 3 leg better but I have put them into a few pistols on request. George

thanks george,i just got it all back together, hope its right! if not i'll give the nowlin a try(this was the only one jim's had today).Had to really get on the spring for the grip safety, but every thing else feels good, thanks again,
Matt

The four prong spring was designed for a special mainspring housing that was drilled and tapped for a small set screw. adjusting the screw would allow about a pound of user adjustable trigger weight change. Jim Clark is the only one who used the system.
