Civil War, Colt 1862 Percussion Rifle

Hi guys. I need your help in identifying the value of this inherited Civil War Rifle.
I heard from one gentleman that it may be a "Wall Hanger". And may be worth $700 to $800.

I would say worth much less than that in it's cut down condition. If still full length and complete it would be worth at least that amount.
 
Looks like a two band artillery musket. Metal is pretty rough tho so still not worth much more than that.
 
BTW, Colt never made a Model 1862 rifle, only a Model 1862 revolver.

AFAIK, What you have was originally designated the Model of 1861 Musket, made from 1861 through 1865.
