For those of you that haven't heard yet, a rumor came out yesterday that Citibank was canceling accounts related to the firearms industry!

It's true!

"Citibank spokesman Mark Rodgers said the account with the Las Vegas gun dealer ``should not have been opened in the first place'' and was closed because ``it wasn't in compliance with this policy.''"

It's true that the bank should not have opened the account. The person at the bank should not have taken the $, but did. The banks, I believe, can loan out $12.00 for every $1.00 they take in. If they loaned money based on this company's account, then shouldn't any interest accrued be his? They used his money to make money just like all the other banks do with yours. Unfortunately the banks look upon us, the little guys, as more of a nuisance than anything else. That's why so many of the branches have been closed and replaced with ATM's and grocery store outlets.
I don't think they care to much if we all close our little accounts or cut up our credit cards. I may be wrong and I hope I am. It would be nice to make an impact. That's all for now.
