Citadel Shotguns

Brackus retooled his machine shop to make the shotguns. If sales go well - projections call for 5,000 a month - "we have the potential of actually increasing jobs here by double, up to about 30 jobs," he said.

Sounds more like he is going to make them here, but the idea came from someone who had visited a plant in Turkey......just the way I'm reading it

You all picked up the same things that I picked up from the story. I *think* that the machine shop makes the actions and small parts (which fits the shop's precision machining business), then assembles that with the imported stuff.

I see that they're going to do the same thing with a line of rifles, too, although the picture doesn't really stir my heart all that much. Plastic and stainless steel doesn't do it for me.

Still, there are two things that brighten my day: another firearms manufacturer in the US and a few more manufacturing jobs in my neck of the woods.
