Chuckie Schumer re-wrote the Constitution this morning

Chump Schumer was just on ABC's This Week, squaring off vs. Orrin Hatch with Sam the Combover about Bush cabinet appointments, and he says that he's "very troubled" and "worried" about the appointment of John Ashcroft for AG, because, get this: "[Ashcroft] might try to repeal the Brady Law, and the assault weapons ban sunsets in 2004". Now, I'm not sure what the point is of mentioning the latter fact, but now Chuck has the U.S.A.G. repealing laws under our system of gov't, and neither Sam nor Orrin called him on it. I hate this man more than words can describe.

Interesting, though, that Chuck is now worried that Ashcroft is not "mainstream" on issues like gun control. Suddenly Chuck is mainstream, not a radical communist leftist on this issue. I wonder why that is.....

I hooked up the long detached antennae to view the debates and now take a peak from time to time. This morning was one of those little dalliances with the TV. Chucky is safe when criticizing our point of view, but did you note that he wasn't so bold when attacking Bush on drilling in the Alaska. Energy shortages make him short on conviction. Other Democratic folks will be a bit short on conviction when it comes to gun control. NRA helped see to that over the last year.

That effing Schumer is a first class moron. He is an embarrassment to the state and nation, a malfeasant nincompoop. Anyway, a couple of days ago it hit me... I was thinking, why doesn't the NRA set up special places in certain large cities to educate 'city-people' about firearms safety and moral responsibility. And that is just what the NRA Times Square storefront would do. By constructing a forum that demonstrates the safe and morally responsible use of firearms in "The Heart of Darkness", Schumer-land, the antis would have the carpet pulled from beneath their feet. Their monopoly on the press would be end-run by real life education for many tourists. What is also brilliant about the Times Square storefront is that it puts a bastion of Constitutional knowledge right in the home of the those two ahistorical idiots, Schumer and Mrs. Bill Clinton. Let's face it, those bozos are not the Senators of NYS, they are the Senators of NYC.

Schumer epitomizes leftist weenie-hood. He managed to learn some Marxist baby talk about 20 years ago, and he's been running on it ever since. Schumer is so deep in labor's pocket, he doesn't know whether it's day or night. You never have to guess where the Chuckster will come out on an issue, he's 100% predictable.

True, but the people of NY elected Chuckie and the Hildebeast by rather large margins. This state is lost, fortunately it lost two congressmen, and Texas gained two. New York is loosing its influence and the sooner the better.

BTW, Texas is now #2 in population, displacing NY!

Good, now if we can just get the Arabs or Osama Bin Laden to nuke NYC, or hit it with a couple tons of VX or GB we'll be all set. S/F...Ken M

Ah, but wait, aren't the offices for 'National Review' located in New York?
T'would be a shame to lose such a publication.

Futo Inu: "... Suddenly Chuck is mainstream, not a radical communist leftist on this issue. I wonder why that is....."

They've been changing the language for a few years now, so that marginalization is always just a few adjectives away. Like gunshow "loophole", which is nothing more than a private sale of private goods between two private citizens. Like "radical Christian right", which only applies to certain denominations, of which the speaker is never a member, of course. Like "mainstream" which is used to refer to whatever group the speaker is a member of or is supporting today. And on it goes. It's just too bad that Americans can't pay attention long enough to the state of their society and culture to go to the voting booth and keep the pendulum from swinging so faaaaaar each time we start down the silly road ... That's why.

A co-worker of mine and I have this "political spectrum" picture we draw whenever we relate the latest stoopid news article of the day. Actually, it has a permament place on our dry boards. It's like a number line, but instead of zero, it says "mainstream". Instead of minus digits it shows liberalism (modern), socialism, communism, slavery, progressing incrementally to the left extreme. Then on the positive side of this converted number line is liberalism (classic), tolerance, conservatism, freedom. Not perfect, but you get the idea. We always preface our daily rave to some spot on that scale. It's a lot of fun! Chuckie Baby is way out there between socialism and communism, with a comic book bubble that says "mainstream here!" What a hoot!

The state is lost because of NYC. That idiot Rudy, gave the Senate to Hillary by not keeping it in his pants and then having to quit.

Have NYC become its own state.

Enoch my friend,
You forget that O'l Rudy was as big an ANTI as Frau Klintinov. Even the Republicans in that state are Antis. No, it is good thing if The State of New York goes away. In fact, if I were a gun owner, Christian, God fearing Jew, or conservative, I would migrate from this place. I think that it is a prime terrorist target. I would leave much like Lot left Sodom!!!!!!

schumer and the constitution

Futo:

Re Schumer changing the constitution, are you certain that he knows what it is in the first place?

Alan, schumer would not know the constitution if it bit him in the south, let us not forget there is a new nazi in town. hillary is allready talking about 86ing the electorial college. hey mrs. clinton you bozo, there is no I in electrol. this is supposed to be the smartest women in america?

Schumer's ideology is that of Adolph Hitler and his good buddies, the Lenin/Stalin Klan.

Hitlery is the same.

Rudi Guiliani has no more respect for the Constitution than does King Klinton. They both wipes their slimey a$$es on it each morning.

Orin Hatch is no friend of the Constitution, either. He'll sell us out in a New York Minute.

And as for Sam.... Well, I've always called that left wing Mega Millionaire Marxist, "Sam I'd-Cower-Under-The-Bed Donaldson". He's a yellow, low down coward, and he admitted it on the old Brinkley show several years ago.

Oh well... The Locomotives Continue Racing Toward Each Other. J.B.

Jay, what is your basis for saying Orin Hatch is no friend of the constitution? Be back on 1/6/01 goin bowhunting

EchoFiveMike, I have often thought it a shame the terrorists are attacking the fine men and women of our Armed Forces whent there are much more inimible targets in Hollywood Babylon. In any event, I don't want any innocent man or women hurt. But it is some paradox that religious persons of many different faiths find Hollywood to be unclean.

Oh, also this thread has inspired me to adopt Thomas Craig and Jesse Helms as my personal senators. Letters informing the gents of this to follow shortly...Yours Truely, BB.

Cowtown: Re Hatch and the Constitution, there are few members of Congress, (Ron Paul is the only one who comes to mind.) who could legitimately be considered friends of the Constitution. I'm not up to date on all of Hatch's offenses, but one thing I do recall is that he's been complicit in bringing up Clinton appointees to be confirmed by a voice vote while the chamber was essentially empty, which violates the quorum clause of the Constitution, and is aimed at evicerating the Senate's power to confirm or reject Presidential appointments by preventing most members from having the oportunity to vote.
