Chronograph for Paintball and "Real guns"???

I play a lot of paintball at my Uncles farm. We need to get a Chronograph because some of the idiots have their guns turned up way too high. So we are going to make everyone stay under 300fps. I am also going to start reloading this winter. So I want a good chrono for working up my own loads. Mindway USA is selling a chronograph at 75 bucks that looks pretty good. My Question is.... If I buy a chronograph will it work for paintballs as well as my pistols and rifles. Also is the chrono that they have at MidwayUSA and good? Most of the paintball chonos I've seen, except the radar versions, were low end rifle/pistol chonos. $60-$70 should buy you what you need. Just set it up according to the instructions and ban hot shooters.
