Christmas bonus from work

A S&W shield!

My wife brought home a smith and wesson shield from work last night, gifted to her because she is the manager. I just couldn't help but be excited for her (and mostly jealous). It is the one without the thumb safety, which is on my list (and still is).

She told her boss how she was wanting to get it. I went to the gun shop to buy it for her on Tuesday but none were in stock. Too bad... we could each have one now.

Anyone else get any gun related gifts?

I picked up an HK USP Compact in 9mm as a gift to myself last week. Afterall, no one knows what you want for Christmas as much as you do!

Installed a TLR-3 this afternoon as well, nightstand setup complete.

Sweet. I have an USP V1 Full Size in 9mm. They shoot very well.

I'm waiting on the Gen4 G19 to arrive at the store myself.
Will be my first glock.
My company did over 3 mil this year, beat our goal of 2.5mil. We got a thank you, much rather have had a shield.. she works for a smaller business and gets the jackpot. I'm still the lucky one though, I couldn't find anyone else naive enough to marry me :D

I love the Gen 4 Glocks. The double recoil system makes a fairly soft shooter even better. The only problem with them is that Glock fan boys that are selling them used don't understand the concept of a "used price".

My next vote would be either the SR1911 or the Ruger P90 if you don't mind single stacks.

My wife and I gave each other a Ruger LC9s. Hers is pink, mine is purple.

Good shooting little guns. We both shoot them a lot better than the snub revolvers we'd been carrying.

I got lucky the other day and found a very gently used Glock 27 Gen 4 with night sights for sale at my LGS for $425. With my 5% discount for being a member of their range, it came to about $404. I thought that was a good deal and jumped on it.

In my family, we made the decision years ago to not exchange gifts at Christmas time. So the Glock 27 was my Christmas present to myself this year.

I've already got a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel on the way. I need to order some 9mm mags today.

Was hoping to put what was left of my Christmas bonus towards a Springfield M1A1 after gifts for the kids and family, but I wounded up spending the money today on a new set of tires for the car.

Oh well.

My bonus went to a new Lee Loadmaster, a new tumbler, a new kit to convert my JR Carbine to the takedown model and the Glock mag conversion, and 2500 158 SWC for my .357. Oh and also a couple of 33 round Glock mags. Pretty nice haul if I do say so myself.

A Sig P238, the SAS version. My mother bought it, but my wife put the bug in her ear, took her to the shop, and got it all done. I am pretty sure that at least part of my wife's motivation was to stop me from drooling on hers.

I bought my self a colt combat commander (04691). Blued 1991 :) can't wait to pick it up. I've been carrying a m&p 9mm, been wanting a 1911 I could carry and now Ill have it soon. Hope everyone got something cool they've been looking at getting. What a great time of year. Lol.:D
