Chote 870 Mark 6 stock

Anybody out there using the Chote Mark 6 stock? My Brownells catalog says it holds 5 extra shells in the bottom of the stock, but the pic seems to show 6 holes, plus they call it a Mark 6, so I think its a typo, and it really does hold 6 extra shells.

If anyone is using this stock, I'd appreciate any comments pro or con.

Thanks

Edward.

I've considered the stock, but there's nothing wrong with the factory one to justify the extra money. MK-6 is the correct term. Their MK-5 stock is a simple, pistol-grip stock so it makes sense.

The shells are stored vertically, not horizontally. What you see in the picture is not the shell holes but, I believe, the spacers between where the shells go.

The new Bushmaster catalog has a pretty good pic of it. 5 vertical shell holes, with adj. tension. Pretty neat piece,I think. Shame it`s so expensive. It should be just the thing for a politically incorrect riot gun. ;) Marcus
