choke sizes

I was wondering if any pne could tellm e the diamatere of a winchester 1300 imp choke,full choke,modified and Baikal full, ic thanks.:cool:
 
what gauge are you asking about???, They all will of course measure differant, I don't think the brand matters much, I would think full choke, is full choke no matter the mfg. Same with the others IC, mod etc.
 
I'm going to assume :rolleyes: you're talking 12 gauge...

A 12 gauge has a nominal bore of .729". Chokes generally come in .005" restriction increments but some of them are less common (improved modified, light modified, etc.) The most common chokes and nominal restrictions are:

improved cylinder - .010"
modified - .020"
full - .035"
turkey choke - not exactly sure, .050" or more

These will vary somewhat from one manufacturer to another I'm sure but are more or less consistent.
