my son just had a model 60 jc higgins giving to him from his grandfather ,it has a choke master on it.
I know nothing about it.it does have adjustable settings on it.
gyl+slug 20 yards , imp cyl 25 yards , mod. 35 yards , imp mod.45 yards , full.55 yards , extra full. 65 yards .it seems to be in good shape and the choke turns so it seems to be functional.
he wants to use this gun for turkeys, can anyone throw me some suggestions on where to set the choke , he will be using 2 3/4 winchester copper plated lead turkey 1 1/2 oz 4 shot. or if its even safe to use them ?
or any more info on this gun , its in decent shape. semi auto .

The one I had seemed like full choke on it was everybody else's cylinder bore. It didn't pattern worth a flip.

I'm not sure about this particular choke, perhaps you had it a full twist beyond full (one click past Cyl). Yet, years ago, I had a Sears pump that had an adjustable choke that seemed to have a mind of its own.
