Sinkhole

Hello all. So I'll be getting some money very soon from a settlement for an accident a couple of years ago. I'm setting aside $1500 for a new toy or 2. Here is my dilemma, I can't make up my fricken mind what I want. I've narrowed down a few choices but this is tough. I'm looking a S&W 627 V-Comp, I got quoted $1349.00 for that, tax and a couple boxes of ammo will eat up my whole budget.
I'm also considering an SR1911 that will run me $669.00, leaving me a good chunk of my budget for something else. I don't know yet what that something else would be, but I'd have about another $700 to play with. I just can't decide. I don't currently own a wheel gun, but have access to my dad's Blackhawk any time I want to. I also don't currently own a 1911. Both of which I have a strong desire to add to my collection, that's the part that makes it tough. What would you do? Tough choice!

Yeah but I'd really wanna stay with 357 Mag./38 Special +P or 327 Fed. Mag. Which leave me with a mind boggling number of guns to choose from.

Instead of the SR1911, get a Springfield Range Officer. Shot a friends' SA RO this afternoon. WOW. Accurate. Fit is very good.
Money left can go towards a used S&W like the 586/686 or 27/28, (used -- without the lock).
